OUR STORY

Weldon’s grandparents, Daddy Bill and Mamma Bill Warren, raised and grew most of what they ate. They raised their own beef, raw milk, hogs, chicken, and eggs. They grew and ate fruits and vegetables from their own garden. Their healthcare costs were minimal; their way of life was fairly simple and their quality of life was excellent.

Weldon’s father was less healthy, eventually living in both an assisted living facility and a nursing home.  He ate grain-fed beef, grain-fed pork, store bought pasteurized milk, and was much less healthy than his father, Daddy Bill. His healthcare costs were extravagant including two sextuplet by-pass surgeries.  Weldon, at a younger age, was even less healthy than his father. In Weldon’s mid 40’s, he had a stroke; our four young children were all in grade school. Weldon had not embraced living and eating off the land and was entirely dependent on today’s processed, synthesized and re-engineered foods. His young health suffered greatly.

In 2001, our family, the Warrens, was cruising down the road of conventional material success, as defined by our progressive U.S. society.  Our lives engulfed in to-do-lists, activities, and schedules. We relied heavily on both processed and convenience foods to stay fed admit our busy lifestyle. Then, tragedy of September 11, 2001 rocked the world. The stress caused by the financial downturn led to Weldon suffering a stroke. God was sending our wakeup call. We did a 180-degree turn in our lifestyle and eating habits, despite the advice from conventional doctors telling us diet would not change the 50% plaque build up on Weldon’s arteries. We moved to the country, began working for a small ranch, and ate our first grass-fed beef in 2002; at the very least, we wanted to feed our family clean, healthy foods.

By 2005, we were drinking our own raw milk, growing our own garden, eating free-range chickens, enjoying eggs with deep orange yolks, and of course—eating a whole lot of true grassfed beef. In 2012, Weldon had a full body scan of his vascular system. When the results came back, not only did he have zero plaque, but his lab numbers were slightly better than the average 35-year-old; Weldon was 57 years old. We can attribute this medical result to the change in our diet and lifestyle. God allowed this very scary stroke to guide us towards something which became our passion and our ministry.  We feel called to tell everyone our truth about nutritional healing. We believe in our body’s natural healing ability when fueled with the clean food that God gave us to nourish us, not the food engineered by man for mass production over nutrients.  God gave us “natural” resources to deal with our environmental hazards and to stay healthy.

Now it’s time for you to decide. Will you take control of your health?  How many prescriptions are you currently taking? How much money do you hand over weekly/monthly to fast food companies for nutrition-less food filled with empty calories? How many food items do you buy from your local mega grocery store that has more than 4-5 ingredients (most of which you don’t recognize or understand and certainly cannot pronounce). If not for your own health, then for the sake of your family’s health—get to know your food. Your health is an investment, not an expense; it will deliver dividends worth living for. We want to help guide you amidst the confusing world of health foods by providing the very best proteins possible for your health.

Our Unchanging Beliefs

Firstly, we are Christians who happen to run a company, therefore we will always place God first. As such, we do our best not to work on Sundays, and appreciate your consideration. Glorification of God is our end, while this business helps us to accomplish it.

Secondly, with God in mind, our only goal is to provide healthy proteins to our customers, and worry about profits later. We are not in it for money, and will always try to keep prices lowest possible to cover costs.

Thirdly, we were one of four grass-fed beef producers who started this movement in Texas away from feed-lot based beef production. As such, we will always seek to promote other grass-fed beef producers. We want everyone to have the opportunity to eat this way. If we are not able to provide you with the products you need, we will help you find a producer who can.

Fourthly, we will always seek to be obedient to those in authority by having the proper regulations, labels, and certificates. We take pride in our ability to be properly certified while also providing you with what we know to be organic. We do not rely on others definitions of what organic or grass-fed means. Our beef is always 100% grass-fed (start to finish), antibiotic free, hormone free, pesticide free, and herbicide free. We use our intellect to tell us what is organic. We go far beyond what is required, as such we call our beef beyond organic. However, we are still properly certified so that we remain obedient.

We know we are imperfect, and we beg your forgiveness in our faults. But these are our unchanging core beliefs that will not fade away. They provide the back bone for our company as we continue to grow and adapt to our ever changing world.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. And this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming; and now it is already in the world. Little children, you are from God, and have conquered them; for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore what they say is from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us, and whoever is not from God does not listen to us. From this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.

By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father has sent his Son as the Savior of the world. God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God. So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.

God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness on the day of judgment, because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love. We love because he first loved us. Those who say, “I love God,” and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen. The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.” (1 John 4)
